Animated Website Banners

The goal of this project was to create animated web banner ads in three different sizes that would redirect website visitors to a new location. The inspiration for this project was the seasonal cherry blossom flower, which was used to promote Starbucks' new drinks. The animated cherry blossoms and petals floating around the drinks were visually appealing and helped to draw attention to the products. To increase brand awareness, the Starbucks logos on the medium rectangle banner and half-page banner were highlighted by fading in the cherry blossom pattern. The mobile leaderboard banner was designed to promote the product, and the "Shop now" call-to-action button was animated to enlarge for easy navigation to the Starbucks coffee shop website page. The pink and green colors used in the banners gave a sense of growth, freshness, and health, in line with the message associated with Starbucks' beverages. It was challenging to design the blooming cherry blossom and flying petals animations while ensuring they were timed properly. The animated web banner ads created in Adobe Photoshop turned out fantastic. They can be used online to engage with targeted customers who are fans of Starbucks' brand and its creative drinks.
